Please take this survey on how you access L&S Advising

The folks here at L&S Advising are working hard to improve how you get the help and information you need to thrive at Cal. So we can concentrate our efforts where they'd benefit you the most, we'd like to know which media you currently use - and which you'd prefer to use - to reach us. It's only two questions long, how hard is that?!

Looking for a Class?

December 06, 2006

If you are still in the process of adjusting your schedule for Spring semester, there is a great resource available for you. The "Looking for a Class" website is a regularly updated listing of classes with open seats for Spring 2007. These classes still have space because other students may not have discovered them. Many of these classes are new, offered on a one-time basis, or are not listed in the Schedule of Classes.

These courses range over a wide variety of disciplines and come from different departments. They can be great options for fulfilling breadth or other college requirements. Or, you may just want to explore a new topic by picking a class that interests you.

Happy class-choosing!

This is our last College Update for 2006. Have a great winter break and holiday season!

Cheers from your Peers!
